- Installation, modification, programming, troubleshooting and repair of highly engineered and highly automated industrial equipment controlled by PLC, PC and other dedicated controls.
- Design, plan, install and program complex controls systems and networks for injection molding, material handling and other specialized equipment utilizing PLC and HMI software for brands like; Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Beckhoff.
- Lead the programming and troubleshooting of flexible automation with robots and gantries.
- Manage relationships with key partners, vendors, and suppliers in executing assigned projects to ensure successful completion.
- Take the lead on specifying vendors for replacement parts, continuous improvement, and value creation.
- Work with other teams and assist in routine maintenance and emergency repairs of equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 7 years industrial experience
- Proven PLC and HMI Programming experience - Siemens / Beckhoff / Allen Bradley / B&R.
- Proven Industrial Networking experience - Profinet, Profibus, WinCC, ServoMotion, EtherCAT, Ignition / SQL / Allen Bradley / Factory Talk.
- Fanuc robotics programming experience.
- Must be able to work in adverse working conditions such as heat, wet, cold, noise, etc.
- Possess excellent analytical skills, data interpretation and communicate them timely and succinctly.
- Knowledge of safety practices such as lockout/tagout, MSHA, NFPA 70E, and proper use of PPE
