About Us:
At Danarys New York, we specialize in luxury womenswear and custom bridal wear. We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pattern Maker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating high-quality patterns for garments, as well as a keen eye for precision and design.
Responsibilities:
Create patterns for various styles of garments, ensuring accurate and consistent fit.
Work closely with designers and production teams to interpret garment sketches and designs into patterns.
Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to patterns for better fit and functionality.
Ensure patterns are aligned with production requirements, including fabric type, cut, and garment structure.
Create and maintain pattern records and documentation for future reference.
Assist in the preparation of samples for production.
Collaborate with the production team to resolve any pattern-related issues that may arise during manufacturing.
Stay updated on fashion trends and techniques to ensure patterns are innovative and relevant.
Private client fittings, alterations, and custom patterns.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of proven experience as a Pattern Maker, preferably in bridal gowns, fitted corsetry and custom alterations.
Proficient in pattern making software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Gerber, Lectra) and manual pattern making.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and fitting techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
