    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The position is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing information to provide business intelligence recommendations around how to present project financials
    • Develop presentation format for tracking workstream budgets and spends
    • Support the Planview team in driving business results with analysis and insights regarding project financials
    • Analyze financial information to create reports that enable knowledge-based decision-making around risks to the project forecast
    • Provide analytics that advise management of the underlying drivers of labor and material spend
    • Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Obtained Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent education/training/experience
    • At least 8-10 years of experience gathering business and technical requirements to generate reports out of financial systems
    • Must be extremely strong creating and maintaining documentation related to the Planview configuration, processes, and workflows.
    • Basic accounting knowledge is mandatory (Product accounting, Cost accounting, GL accounting, Deferred / Accrued revenue, Margins analysis)
    • Solid understanding of Agile development, project accounting and IT cost tracking
    • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
    • Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, including building custom reports
    • Experience with a variety of projects including large collaborative programs
    • Experience working in a matrix organization.
    • Experience in corporate finance
    • Effective problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills – ability to work with interdepartmental teams
    • Ability to delegate, multi-task, and follow through on initiatives within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Background working in government programs or implementing complex government projects in the areas of Health and Human Services preferred
    • Experience with Planview or another PPM tool preferred
