Assistant Director, Center for Religion and Spirituality - New York

+The Assistant Director serves as a creative and strategic outreach partner in advancing the Center's mission to form spiritually grounded, theologically informed, and socially engaged leaders for the Church and the world.++Under the supervision of the CRS Director, this role bridges pastoral support with practical execution—promoting and marketing academic and formation programs,+producing high-quality digital content,+cultivating partnerships,+and growing the Center's outreach.++
Responsibilities
+Program Management (35%)+- Partner with the Director in promoting coursework and certificate programs+- Coordinate market recruit for CRS Certificate Programs events+- Recruit mentor staff for courses workshops formation events fostering collaboration+Support students discerning enrolling engaging with CRS courses opportunities.- Support administrative operations including course scheduling communication event planning+Manage graduation ceremonies LMU local dioceses LOGIC region initiatives.+Digital Media Marketing Creative Outreach (35%)+- Lead implement Center outreach promotion communications strategy utilizing social media newsletters digital media storytelling share transformative content.- Develop oversee projects communicating CRS mission engage audiences spirituality theology.- Manage update website ensuring clarity aesthetic integrity theological resonance all expressions.Design produce disseminate digital video print marketing materials advertisements eNewsletters publications branded merchandise.Coordinate word-of-mouth community-based campaigns increase awareness engagement student recruitment.Ensure consistency LMU messaging branding.Business Development Mission Advancement (20%)+- Develop business strategies initiatives reflect CRs mission extend reach through courses content resources.Assist grant writing donor relations fundraising initiatives partnership director needed.Build maintain strategic partnerships diocesan offices ministry leaders faith-based organizations meet evolving needs Catholic community Southern California beyond.Represent CRs speaker ambassador conferences gatherings professional events promoting Centres mission programs.Collaborate other LMU centers institutes develop program advance University Catholic Jesuit identity.Research Professional Development Representation (10%)- Research emerging topics market trends spirituality theology pastoral formation inform program innovation.Analyze evaluate recommendations made based evaluations.Recruit cultivate relationships instructors speakers partners new courses initiatives.Attend participate meetings seminars promote CRs programs ongoing development.Maintain strong commitment spiritual theological professional growth keeping Catholic Ignatian tradition.Job description
