Job Summary
The Sr.
Analyst provides RCM analytics for the practice managers and staff, including payer trends for edits, rejects and denials of claims.
ResponsibilitiesProvide reporting analysis and support to the RCM National Director to assess training and process needs in the markets and practices
Review and analyze claim denials and trending: educate operations on root causes
Review Key Performance Indicators by practice with practice managers
Prepares and executes improvement plans on missed KPIs in conjunction with National Director of RCM
Attends all training & orientation sessions on RCM education in the markets
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
More than 5 years experience in Revenue Cycle in large physician practice or revenue cycle company
Excellent written/verbal & presentation communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of Excel/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint
Next Gen/Athena Practice management systems experience a plus
Experience with front end claim editing systems and eligibility software systems
Knowledge of payer and industry rules and regulations
Ability to work independently without onsite direct supervision
Ability to handle multiple projects and adjust priorities
