McLaren Health Plan is our Michigan-based health plan dedicated to meeting the health care needs of each of our Michigan members.
MDwise is our Indiana-based health plan, working with the State of Indiana and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to bring you the Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan health insurance programs.
Position Overview:
Responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial data relating to the assigned product lines and finance functions.
Responsible for overseeing the financial statement preparation for assigned product lines and/or assigned subsidiaries.
Also, responsible for overseeing the preparation of the budget and monthly budget analysis for the Plan.
This is a hybrid position with requirements to come onsite as scheduled with leader, Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Five (5) years' experience in a progressively more responsible accounting or financial role and proven knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and procedures.
Preferred:
Two (2) years' experience and knowledge of HMO, or PPO.
Master's Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Financial Auditing Experience.
