    Position Overview:

    Freddie Mac's Single Family Data and Decisions team is in search of a Data Analyst Professional to join the Business Data Architecture team. This role involves interaction with multiple teams to understand the technology needs and applying architecture principles and technical knowledge to provide architecture solutions and mentorship. The candidate will be part of the team who support platform teams in prioritization of work and the data teams that deliver business capabilities.

Additionally, The team works with the IT partners to provide solutions and guidance to migrate our data capabilities to Stratus (The SF data ecosystem) for analytical and transactional consumption.

    Your Impact:
    • Support the team to provide Architecture solutions to SF Modern delivery projects of Data modernization and hydration to data lake.
    • Create functional architecture diagrams to communicate the data flow and solution approach.
    • Assist Modern Delivery teams in a variety of different ways: Collect information of projects in the pipeline, document the requirements and identify capability gaps and help implement the solutions.
    • Work with the platform teams to scope and prioritize the delivery of capabilities.
    • Work with data registration and data governance teams to ensure that all new SF projects adhere to registration and governance policies.
    • Create presentations to provide timely updates to the leadership on the status of various work and projects.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
    • 2 years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills with experience working with data marts/database from structured/unstructured data
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, or a related field
    • Availability to begin full time employment in January 2024.
    • Certifications in AWS, Snowflake and other cloud related technologies is a plus.
    • Experience with database, data model and data warehouse concepts.
    • Familiarity with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sets (XML, JSON, etc.), processing and analyzing.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Proven understanding of Hadoop and AWS Cloud data environment
    • Familiar with BI tools, such as Tableau, MicroStrategy.
    • Understanding of Mortgage Industry is a plus.

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $78,000 - $118,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
