    Travel CT Technologist Job Description

    We are seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Arcata, CA. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
    • Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions and position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
    • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images and administer radiocontrast agents as needed
    • Evaluate CT scans to determine technical quality and follow safety procedures when working with radiation
    • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system

    Requirements:

    • Must have 1 year of experience
    • Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required
    • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
