    Who we're looking for

    Toyota's Production Control is looking for a passionate and highly motivated General Stores Analyst

    The primary responsibility of this role is

    • Responsible for Develop Systems and Processes to ensure just-in-time availability of Spare Parts, Consumables, and production-related items to support mass production and the new model of Corolla at TMMMS.
    • Establish a management framework (KPI) to ensure just-in-time availability of spare parts and measure the impact of system and process kaizens.
    • Manage supplier delivery performance, and lead improvement activities with suppliers as required.
    • Develop and execute individual Strategies, annual plans, project management schedules, and goals to support Section and Company Hoshin.
    • Achieve Hoshin Targets
    • Support 3-Pillar target achievement

    Reporting to the Senior Manager the person in this role will support the Production Control objective to Manage operation/function in General Stores.

    What you'll be doing

    • Necessity for expediting of production critical materials and determination of responsibility for payment of expedited transportation charges.
    • Systems Kaizens and integration with Process Flow and standard work to optimize/benefit through change point management.
    • Define and Evaluate On-Site and Off-site Supplier Scope of Work.
    • Support Cycle Count (Investigations, posting, scheduling, and approvals)
    • Responsible for Budget planning and Management (P.D.C.A) to meet targets for Obsolete Inventory.
    • General Stores SAP system management of spare parts
    • Support new material setup for internal shops; evaluate the criticality of all materials requested to be stocked and approval of materials that meet the proper criteria.
    • Manage Material Correction Sheets (MCS) process for part changes and other supplier-related discrepancies
    • Support price change requests from suppliers (PCR) with TMNA purchasing.
    • Manage General Stores' inventory condition (set criteria for cycle counts, audits inventory condition, and count accuracy).
    • Create and analyze data reports including KPI, Order Receiving, Stock out, Exception, and Past due reports.
    • Lead a cross-functional team with shop maintenance / PE to communicate part usage and eliminate obsolete parts to reduce inventory cost and improve space management.
    • Resource for all shipping-related questions within the plant.
    • Support General Stores floor activity by monitoring processes.
    • Support New user setup for SAP access and cost center approvers.
    • Support TMMMS Newly promoted GL/ TL SAP training program.
    • Complete SOX Compliance Documents Monthly
    • Support process layout for General Stores to ensure / support process flow and standard work
    • Complete the EMCS process to ensure vendor parts are to the latest specifications
    • Work with numerous vendors for OP closure through delivery and payment

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent manufacturing experience greater than 2 years.
    • Cross-functional coordination experience in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional work experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment utilizing critical thinking
    • Outlook organization with strong PFS and follow-up required.
    • Strong Microsoft Office (especially Excel) experience.
    • Ability to develop/implement risk management strategies.
    • Ability to problem solve and make important productivity decisions quickly. Many times, with minutes of impact to Shops. (Quick Math/Calculator skills)

    Added bonus if you have

    • Minimum Analyst or G/L level experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Vehicle Manufacturing.
    • Production Control experience within a high-volume production environment.
    • Ability to manage inventory levels through SAP / Ariba / Maximo system analysis and continuous communication with each MFG shop. (computer data analysis skills).
    • Basic TPS fundamentals understanding and practice in problem-solving, standardization, JIT, etc.
