    Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Job Description



    Job Summary:


    As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams using advanced equipment and techniques.



    Responsibilities:



    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify anatomical abnormalities or pathologies.

      • Use cognitive sonographic skills to record accurate diagnostic images.
    • Maintain a high level of proficiency in the operation of ultrasound machines and new technologies.

    I Assist with patient care, including preparation, positioning, and explanation of procedures.

    , Educational Requirements:*
    - Completion of an educational program in ultrasonography or equivalent work experience
    - Prior experience as a sonographer is preferred. A valid registration from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is required as well as obtaining registry within two years if not registered]
