    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles.

    Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of equipment used across various sectors such as transportation, construction, and agriculture.

    *Duties
    • Perform detailed diagnostics using schematics and automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, suspension systems, and HVAC components.
    • Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, farm machinery, and industrial equipment.
    • Execute fabrication tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly to repair or modify equipment parts as needed.
    • Maintain and repair vehicle systems including air brake systems, alignment adjustments, shocks & struts replacement, tire service, and power tool operation for repairs.
    • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs on heavy machinery using schematics and electrical experience.
    • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety standards are met; replace worn parts like shocks & struts or hydraulic hoses.
    • Assist with heavy lifting tasks using cranes or other lifting equipment; ensure all repairs adhere to safety protocols.
    • Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing maintenance needs.
    *Experience
    • Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair in a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
    • Hands-on fabrication skills, including welding, soldering, and assembly of mechanical components.
    • Familiarity with operating excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other heavy machinery.
    • Strong knowledge of schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams; ability to interpret technical manuals effectively.
    • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools along with mechanical knowledge of transmissions, air brake systems, HVAC units, suspension components, and tire service.
    • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
