    Job Summary

    The Accounting Tech maintains customer billing records, generates bills and related reports, prepares adjustments to customer accounts, and oversees the collection of delinquent accounts.

    As a Lead Worker to the Accounting Specialists, this position prioritizes schedules, assigns and reviews the work of staff.

    Also, in partnership with the Finance Director, this position evaluates staff performance; recommends personnel actions, including disciplinary and training plans; and makes hiring and termination recommendations.

    This position is highly visible to customers and must be able to use effective problem-solving skills, especially during conflictive situations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Business or related field

    Three years progressively responsible experience in a related field, which includes two years of full-time lead worker and/or supervisory

    Pass background investigation

    Bi-lingual skills desired.


    Language skill requirement or preference:
    Able to speak Spanish preferred

    Able to read Spanish preferred

    Able to write Spanish preferred
