Gridiron IT Intelligence & Security division is seeking a Imagery Science Analyst, Expert to join our team in Quantico, VA in support of a Maritime effort for the US Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) program.

The ideal candidate will provide direct support to MCIA to provide situational awareness and intelligence production and analysis for numerous Areas of Responsibility (AORs).

Candidate will conduct Imagery Science analytic production by interpreting imagery including, but not limited to visible, infrared, and radar data as well as full motion video for the identification of foreign conventional and unconventional military installations; civilian infrastructure relevant to military capabilities; weapon systems; orders of battle; military equipment ad defenses; battle damage assessments; communications; and humanitarian efforts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

A minimum of 20 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in image science, remote sensing, earth science, physical science, engineering, or similar engineering/science field or .

Scientist candidates must have experience in applied image processing and scientific analysis of imagery (SAR, IR, Spectral, Lidar), knowledge of image formation, and associated discipline phenomenology.

Additional experience required includes scientifically processing imagery (SAR, IR, Spectral, Lidar) from Civil and Commercial imaging systems, proficiency with techniques, algorithms, and scientific analysis of associated discipline data processing using RSI ENVI.

Experience with GOTS applications such as FSTK and AGITK is a plus.

Scientists must possess the ability to communicate effectively in writing and oral presentations, complete task in a timely manner with minimal supervision, and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member.

A relevant BS degree may count for up to four years of this experience.

A relevant MS degree may count for up to 2 years of this experience, and a relevant PhD may count for up to an additional two years of this experience.

More than 20 years of Photogrammetric expertise is a specific requirement.

Customer will require candidate to provide Photogrammetric expertise, recommendations, and training on advanced phenomenology, techniques and methodology to support analysis and production cycle and mission requirements.

Requires TS/SCI security clearance and ability to pass CI poly, if requested.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to:
Define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.

Analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft and techniques aligned with the imagery science mission.

Extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to planners and policymakers.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Customer is requesting a seasoned Intelligence Analyst preferably with multi-INT expertise, excellent research, writing, and briefing skills to customer senior leadership, as they pertain to an intelligence environment supporting critical operations.

Master's degree in an area related to the field of work.
