    Tax Manager - Firm with Opportunities for Growth into Partnership

    This role involves overseeing all aspects of tax accounting and compliance within the company and providing strategic tax advice to clients.

    The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, conducting tax research, ensuring tax compliance, providing tax advice, and developing team members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Client Relationships: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Conduct Tax Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
    • Ensure Tax Compliance: Accurately prepare and review company and client tax returns.
    • Provide Strategic Tax Advice: Help clients minimize their tax liabilities while remaining compliant with tax laws.
    • Collaborate with Other Departments: Provide integrated financial solutions to clients.
    • Train and Mentor Junior Staff Members: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Participate in Tax Planning Strategies: Actively develop and implement tax planning strategies.
    • Represent Clients in Tax Audits and Disputes: Negotiate with tax authorities on behalf of clients.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
    • Active CPA License: Required.
    • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related role.
    • Client Management: Proven experience in client management, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
    • Tax Research Skills: Strong tax research skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and regulations.
    • Tax Compliance: Extensive experience in tax compliance.
    • Strategic Tax Advice: Ability to provide strategic tax advice, helping clients navigate complex tax issues.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Tech Skills: Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
