We have a fantastic full time career opportunity for a qualified Manual Machinist.We are looking for an experienced manual machinist to work on industrial equipment such as Vertical Turret Lathes and/or Manual Lathes or Horizontal Boring Mills. The successful candidate will be responsible for modification and operation of large pump parts to precise specifications. The job requires close tolerances (+/- 0.001”) and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional responsibilities include experience in machining large pump components such as cases, impellers, wear-rings, bearing housings, shafts, covers., plane and bore of horizontal pump casings is a plus., sufficient mathematical skills are required to compute angle's radii bolt circles and other dimensions., overhead crane experience
