At Third Coast Distributing, we are part of a global service organization that specializes in distributing automotive and industrial replacement parts, operating under the brand name NAPA Auto Parts. Our extensive independent network serves numerous customers throughout South and Central Texas.

About The Role:

As a Delivery Driver at Third Coast Distributing, you play a crucial role in our success by providing exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships with our clients. You will report directly to the Store Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service while carrying out deliveries.
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers, including loading and unloading.
Retrieve parts from various locations, maintain accurate stock levels in the inventory, and manage inventory records.
Keep a detailed distribution log to track all deliveries and pickups.
Maintain the delivery truck following safety protocols, ensure cleanliness, and perform basic maintenance.
Promptly report any vehicle maintenance requirements to the store manager.
Drive safely, following all company safety regulations.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and dress code, including fleet and safety policies.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of driving experience.
Preferably some knowledge of automotive parts.
Minimum age of 18 years.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with cataloging or inventory systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to travel between locations, possessing a valid driver's license.
Efficiently handle merchandise, including lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
