Job Overview:

JustFoodForDogs is seeking a high-performing and highly organized individual with a passion for science, nutrition, and pets The candidate will be responsible for the New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey) area and surrounding east coast regions, with a focus on our own retail locations.

This role centers on partnering and fostering relationships with hospitals. We are looking for a candidate with multitasking abilities, strong administrative skills, and the capacity to maintain professional etiquette.

As an integral part of veterinary professional education and outreach, you will provide high-level education about our products and nutrition.

Key responsibilities include visiting hospitals, maintaining partner relationships, and involving cross-collaboration with different departments and external organizations. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with every location within your designated market by visiting hospitals to support surrounding retail locations (New York and the east coast region).
• Track and maintain metrics defined under the Vet Team's Outreach Program Guidelines.
• Partner cross-functionally with other departments for various initiatives to support veterinary industry clients.
• Travel and driving are crucial to this role (New York City Region and surrounding areas including New Jersey).
• Responsible for inputting and tracking data using Excel and Salesforce.
• Communicate with clients about our products and educate veterinary professionals during outreach visits, conferences, and educational events.
• Facilitate in-person or virtual Lunch & Learns (LL) for prospective, new, and legacy vet partners.
• Establish and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Support conference setup, tear down, and coordination.
• Attend/support virtual Doctor Dinners (DD) and post-event vet follow-up activities.
• Communicate insights/ideas to the manager to help achieve organizational targets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via video conferences.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce. Knowledge of BI tools is a plus.
• Self-motivation, multitasking abilities, and attention to small details.
• Critical thinking skills to overcome challenges and solve problems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a high-pressure environment.
• Capability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
• Possession of a driver's license and the ability to travel via plane.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Veterinary Technician Certificate
• Must be located in the New York city area.
• Focus on pet nutrition is a major plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Drive to meet and exceed goals.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education:

Strongly prefer a four-year degree or AA degree and require a High School Diploma or equivalent.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Frequent driving required.
• Direct contact with customers, dogs, and employees.
• Dynamic, changing environment - JFFD is a place of change, and change must be embraced professionally.
• Traveling role.
• Must be able to visit the Irvine office periodically.
