We are seeking a skilled Cook who is passionate about crafting delicious meals from scratch. The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of breakfast and lunch items.
**Pay: $ $22.00hr (based on experience)**
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience cooking from scratch
+ Knowledge of internal food temperatures
+ Cutting and knife skills
+ Food preparation experience
+ Grilling experience
**Job Description:**
+ Prepare wide range of breakfast and lunch itemsincluding omelets, eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast burritos, hamburgers, chicken, and soups.
+ Must have a deep understanding of food safety is essential, including knowledge of internal temperatures for various meats and how to properly rest dishes.
+ We value precision and dexterity in knife skills, proficiency in food preparation, and grilling expertise.
+ The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced kitchen is crucial.
+ This role involves serving over 400 customers daily and working collaboratively with a team of food prep staff, chefs, and food runners.
**Work Environment:**
+ Candidates will operate within a hospital-grade kitchen equipped with professional equipment.
+ The setting requires direct interaction with customers, demanding a friendly demeanor.
+ The position includes working in a team of six per shift, not including managerial staff.
+ The team is expected to double in size within the next three months, enhancing opportunities for collaboration.
