Sales & Service Representative

Crystal Clean is a leading provider of environmental waste services. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to help us grow our business.

Purpose:

The Sales and Service Representative will be responsible for growing our business at new and existing customer sites by applying sales strategies, providing excellent customer service, and promoting safe work behaviors.

Specific Duties:

Engage in and promote safe work behaviors consistent with all Crystal Clean safety guidelines.
Provide exceptional customer service and develop new business opportunities within a designated geographic area.
Maintain efficient work orders to minimize travel time and mileage.
Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation.
Service existing customers by exchanging fluids and removing drum wastes, servicing parts washers, and other equipment.
Pursue additional services with existing accounts.
Evaluate customer needs, present products and services, and develop new customers.
Generate sales leads for Data-Marketing.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation requirements.
Achieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development.
Adhere to corporate policies and standards, including environmental, health, and safety protocols.

Position Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, the following qualifications are required.

Core Competencies and Specific Skills:

Strong communication and attention to detail skills.
Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments.
Proficiency in operating electronic devices, computers, hoses, and truck equipment.

Work Experience:

Route sales experience is preferred.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT certification are required.
A motor vehicle record that meets or exceeds Crystal Clean's published standards is required.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting of materials weighing 54-80 pounds.
Frequent pushing/pulling of 16-55 gallon drums using approved equipment.
All applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol screening.
