Under the administrative and technical supervision of a physician, performs medical services in the care and treatment of patients by obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, applying diagnostic techniques, ordering tests/procedures and evaluating to assess medical condition, developing treatment plans and performing selected therapeutic tasks, or other special procedures.
# Roles include First Assist in the ORs with our Plastic Surgeons. The PA-C will also provide pre-op / post-op care for Burn and Wound Care patients. Surgery probably 1/3 to 1/2 of the time.The areas that will be included in this role include:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the neonate, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
#EXPERIENCE:
# Two (2) years clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferred.# Demonstrated ability to work independently and make clinical assessments.# Additional experience may be required in assigned specialty area.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:
# Certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in State of TN. Additional certification in specialty areas may be required. Eligible for Prescriptive privileges) in State of Tennessee required.
