    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Executive to lead large commercial construction projects. The Project Executive will oversee all aspects of project management, from inception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of commercial construction principles and practices.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning and Management:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for commercial construction projects in alignment with company goals.
    • Define project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
    • Provide executive-level oversight and guidance to project teams throughout all project phases.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing their needs and concerns.
    • Develop new business opportunities and cultivate existing client relationships to secure future projects and repeat business.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality projects that meet or exceed expectations.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, superintendents, and support staff, providing direction, guidance, and support.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
    • Mentor and coach project team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

    Financial Management:

    • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Monitor project expenses, revenue, and cash flow, and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and maximize project profitability.
    • Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking systems to provide accurate and timely project financial data.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate their impact.
    • Monitor project progress and performance indicators, proactively addressing any issues or delays.
    • Implement contingency plans as needed to ensure project objectives are achieved on schedule and within budget.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet quality standards and client expectations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues or deficiencies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
    • Strong leadership abilities and executive presence, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams and lead by example.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
    • Comprehensive understanding of commercial construction principles, practices, and industry trends.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
