Job summary
To assist the Engineering Division by performing manual and semi-skilled work in assigned areas including surveying transportation engineering and/or utility engineering.The incumbent will assist in locating survey points tracer wires perform construction staking record survey field notes and related data operate maintain survey GPS equipment scanner process survey information enter traffic count data analyze traffic count data create plans maps charts manually or using CAD GIS monitor inspect small construction projects report problems maintain daily log document construction quantities quality control tests on materials perform traffic counting work as assigned.
Be an effective team member by exhibiting self-motivation supporting other employees handling tasks interacting effectively respectfully with others showing desire to contribute team effort accepting assignments willingly completing tasks within agreed timelines.
