Job Summary
A single hand welder is needed in Abilene Tx. Raises, places and unites girders, columns and other structural−steel members to form completed structures or structure frameworks.
+Responsibilities
- Secure components together applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage and welding techniques.
- Assemble component layouts by applying knowledge of geometry, physical metal properties and weld shrinkage.
- Bolt clamp and tack−weld parts to position for welding.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have three years minimum Field experience in trade.
- Know all properties of various types of metal and how heat affects them.
- Completion of welding certification administered by Samuel EPC
Ability to work with others to achieve job goals Read write and communicate using the English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need)
