    As a Tax Manager with our Seattle office, you will work side-by-side with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business, having a direct impact on the firm's success.

    You will be responsible for delivering tax and business advisory services and tax compliance to small business clients, while also overseeing and providing services pertaining to accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials.

    In this role, you will lead and plan client engagements, continuously evaluate processes and procedures within the client services and implementation functions, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.

    You will also manage and build client relationships, act as liaison to address and resolve client issues, and assist team leaders in researching and providing additional services to client.

    Additionally, you will maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws, and support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

    We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, master's or advanced degree desirable, CPA or JD required, and five (5)+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.

    The ideal candidate will have two (2)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates, and demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.

    Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills are also essential, as well as eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
