    Description

    The Nuclear Medicine Technologist role is a vital part of our team at CHRISTUS Health. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, provide support for other technologists, and facilitate smooth patient flow.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Maintaining radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
    • Completing daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
    • Demonstrating flexibility in working various shifts and campuses as needed

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A graduate degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
    • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred, with basic computer skills required
      < li>Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (N) by ARRT or NMTCB is mandatory < ul > < li > State licensure is also necessary: Texas requires MRT by TMB; Louisiana needs LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTBE; New Mexico demands NMT by MIRTP NMED < p > Additionally, Basic Life Support certification is essential.
