Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Inspector General-Certification Bureau.
The purpose of the position is to assure compliance with Federal regulations and Fire Codes, emergency preparedness, Clinical Laboratories Improvement Amendments (CLIA) requirements through supervision of the fire and life safety, emergency preparedness, and CLIA survey activities for Titles XVIII (Medicare) and XIX (Medicaid), reviews engineering and construction documents for building modifications, emergency preparedness documents, and CLIA reports required for program compliance, and provides consultation to facilities and other Office staff on life safety and construction issues, emergency preparedness, and CLIA survey requirements.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunityo Five years of job-related work.
o One year of experience supervising others.
o Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
o Have passed or will be able to take and pass the NFPA Certified Fire Inspector Exam 1 (CFI-1) within 1 year of employment.
o Have passed or will be able to take and pass Basic Life Safety Code (BLSC) training (earning a certificate of completion) within 1 year of employment.
