    Physical Therapist – Per Diem

    Arc Broward is looking for a Physical Therapist for our 3-5 year old students who have developmental disabilities and other health impairments.

    Essential Job Functions/Duties

    The physical Therapist is responsible for provision of quality physical therapy services including:

    • assessment, therapeutic treatment planning and service delivery using best practice treatment modalities for children to facilitate age-appropriate independence in gross motor coordination, balance, strengthening activities, and motor planning activities
    • developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring the progress of each child through analysis of data and making necessary modifications
    • evaluating physical and social environmental conditions for optimal function, learning, independence, health, and stability
    • demonstrating and modeling effective and therapeutic intervention strategies
    • providing coaching and consultation to staff for continuity and generalization across settings
    • collaborating with all members of the team
    • assessing, recommending, and ensuring that children are provided with proper adaptive equipment
