Job summary
Draft correspondence including pleadings, discover, motions, orders and notices. Schedule and maintain case calendars Research complex issues using Westlaw or Lexis Nexis Investigate legal matters including fact check witness interviews and summarization Manage document production and trial prep including notebooks exhibits and case law cite checks File pleadings motions and through ECF or conventionally in the county courts Review and summarize depositions medical records other documents Manages logistical details of preparing for a trial which includes details ranging from numbering exhibits to tracking court dates filing deadlines Acts as liaison between clients experts vendors opposing counsel other parties in litigation or transaction Collaborates with attorneys paralegals professionals to accomplish firm goals Other duties as assigned by Attorneys Director of Practice Support
