Job Duties
Norfolk State University's (NSU) Department of Nursing and Allied Health seeksexperienced public health professionals to serve as primary instructional faculty or primarily research faculty for the MPH program.
Engage in scholarly activity, grantsmanship, professional development and service commensurate with faculty appointment type.
Teach courses.
Conduct research.
Advise and mentor students.
Strive to develop among students, respect for others and their opinions, by demonstrating respect for each student as a learner and as an individual.
Promote student development and academic achievement through tutoring, mentoring, referrals, recommendations, financial assistance via scholarships and engagement in curricular activities and service-learning.
Participate in program planning activities.
Pursue funding for program and faculty activities.
