Rental Specialist at Curtis Lane Equipment

Curtis Lane Equipment, an authorized Bobcat dealer with multiple full-service locations across Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina, is seeking an individual to join their team as a Rental Specialist at the Roanoke Dealership.

• Responsible for ensuring Rental Department profitability
• Focuses on creating a positive customer experience
• Handles quote requests and availability inquiries promptly
• Assists in forecasting rental inventory additions and deletions
• Completes assigned training programs for professional development
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards within the department
• Ensures accuracy in all invoicing, including additional billing items like transportation and cleaning charges
• Contributes to business development by acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones
• Regularly evaluates competitors, recommends price adjustments and updates in offerings
• Collaborates with Sales Manager on sales leads, rental inventory, and new customer acquisition
• Works with the credit department on collections and customer conflict resolutions
• Remains accessible to staff via communication devices like radios, telephones, cell phones, and intercoms
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of construction phases in civil and commercial projects
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude or experience in the operation of Bobcat machinery

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in heavy equipment rental
• Strong mechanical background and technical/computer proficiency
