    Responsibilities
    Peraton requires Systems Architects to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.


    Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.

    The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract

    (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide

    USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),

    and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network

    Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and

    common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct

    training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.

    The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

    Systems Architects perform tier four architecture and engineering support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Individuals in this position require an extensive background in all aspects of systems technology.

    Systems Architects develop and document web site architectures and best practices, and provide design and architectural recommendations for long-term/chronic problem resolution, such as MILCON and Installation Information Infrastructure Architecture (I3A) standards.

    Systems Architects troubleshoot enterprise voice, video, cloud, and data networks and evaluate the impact of architectural changes on the network.

    Systems Architects must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. They typically have a background in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.

    Systems Architects maintain currency in applicable industry standards from bodies such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), as well as applicable military standards such as MILCON and Installation Information Infrastructure Architecture (I3A) standards.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    Assessing business and applications requirements for systems

    Planning, designing and upgrading systems installation projects

    Establishing and maintaining backup, version-control, and malware defense systems

    Troubleshooting network architecture and making recommendations for system repairs and enhancements

    Making recommendations for leveraging systems installations and reducing operational costs

    MacDill AFB, FL

    *Positions are contingent on contract award.


    Salary range is based on geographical location.

    Qualifications

    Required qualifications :
    BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5.

    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a similar field is recommended.

    Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

    DoD TS/SCI clearance is required

    At least 15 years of experience in an IT-related discipline

    Certifications applicable to role and specific position are required

    Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
