Objectives of this Role:

- Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solution for the company

- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

- Provide guidance, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies

- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design

- Lead designing architecture and implementation of apps utilizing cloud services

What You'll be Doing:

• Participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including planning, requirements, development, and testing
• Troubleshooting incidents, identifying root cause, fixing and documenting problems, and implementing preventative measures
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training
• Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platform
• Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or any other)
• HTML5, JavaScript, and Angular
• Experience with AWS ELB load balancer
• Experience with AWS Redis and Elastic
• Experience with MS SQL Server
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Jira and Bitbucket
• Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-achitected frameworks
• Ability to empathize with our users and champion for their experience.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, Visual Studio, JIRA, and other tools that are typically used by developers on Microsoft technology stack.

$120,000 - $160,000 a year
