    Job Description

    The Commercialization Intern will support the internal commercialization team in the development and execution of new product launch materials, with a heavy focus on copywriting and proofreading support. This role will assist in ensuring on-time delivery of content and materials for various internal teams while maintaining copywriting guidelines and standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, thrive under deadlines, and be eager to learn and contribute to a wide variety of projects.

    Responsibilities

  • Support copywriting projects by proofreading key deliverables from various teams.
  • Provide support in managing relationships with internal teams for collaborative projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver content that adheres to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Assist with literature annual refresh projects; help ensure copy accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in regular audits of existing marketing copy and identify opportunities for updates, consolidation or removal.
  • Help organize, document and update active trademarks for each Outdoors brand.
  • Assist with creating and proofreading copy for social media.
  • Conduct research to support content creation and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with other marketing projects and tasks as needed.
  • Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AP Style is a plus.

  • This is a paid internship position.
  • Location: Hybrid with required office days in Maumee, OH on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
