    Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller/Office Manager to oversee our accounting operations and office management. This pivotal role will be responsible for maintaining financial controls, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and ensuring operational efficiency across our dealership. Candidates with experience in Controlling will be given highest consideration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and direct accounting functions including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and all financial reporting.
    • Serve as the main point of contact and manager for office staff members, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
    • Coordinate office logistics, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and administrative support.
    • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Produce accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
    • Management of Federal tax forms and 1099 processes.
    • Responsible for month-end and year-end close processing.
    • Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, reporting significant variances to management.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, or related field.
    • Experience in accounting, preferably in a dealership or automotive industry.
    • CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Dealertrack, ADP Workforce Now) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
