The Vehicle Technology Assessment (VTA) Group within the Vehicle and Mobility Systems at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking to hire a postdoctoral appointee to assess vehicle technologies to quantify energy consumption, performance and cost benefits.Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle modelling and simulation of advanced powertrains to quantify the impacts of new component technologies, control algorithms and powertrain architectures with focus on advanced technologies.
- Benchmark next generation vehicle systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and/or analyze their impacts at individual, regional and national level.
