    Account Manager Role

    The Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales and is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas. Key responsibilities include:

    • Maintaining our database of qualified prospects through cold calling
    • Identifying qualified prospective clients and developing customer relationships
    • Establishing strong networks with new and existing customers for continued sales growth
    • Attending work functions, charity, and industry events
    • Delivering established proposals to clients on a monthly basis
    • Closing business and providing after-sales reports to the Director of Sales

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate should have:

    • A positive buying experience; strong closing skills
    • The ability to detect individual customer needs and present key benefits of doing business with Total Fire Protection
    • Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and career-oriented mindset
    • Drive, persistence, and ability to meet and exceed sales targets/goals
    • Ability to function independently in a team environment with little supervision
    • Professional Presentation
    • Prior sales experience (3 years plus)
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Ability to maintain confidential client information
    • Excellent editing, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
