- Have administrative oversight and engage in its strategic development and growth; Should have leadership skills and experience
- Work primarily on the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Service at the Medical Center and will also have the option to attend 2-4 weeks per year at Tufts Medical Center, our partner transplant center
- Essential role in the Cardiogenic Shock team, Pulmonary Hypertension Program, and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) program
- Additional responsibilities include an active role in the cardiac intensive care unit and inpatient services, outpatient medicine, teaching, and clinical research
- Position holds an academic title at the School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic portfolio; expected to engage in academic activities, including research and mentoring of learners, such as cardiovascular fellows, house staff, and students from the School of Medicine
- Leading compensation and benefits packages, along with generous PTO and CME time
- The Heart and Vascular Center has a robust research portfolio focused on clinical and population health supported by funding from the NIH/NHLBI, the American Heart Association, and other foundations, and is engaged in numerous clinical trials
- The research program is supported by expert mentors, training programs, and dedicated administrative, technical, and analytic resource
- This area boasts four seasons of outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, boating, swimming
- 70 miles from an International Airport, 180 miles from Montreal, 2 hours to Boston
