- Comprehending and defining production capabilities, and applying capability data to uphold engineering and production quality standards and requirements.
- Coordinating necessary testing to guarantee products meet performance and durability expectations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards such as NSF, UL, among others.
- Developing metrics and effectively communicating data across different organizational levels.
- Engaging in lean initiatives like 5s, value stream teams, and blitz events as needed.
- Collaborating with manufacturing, continuous improvement, and other teams for cross-functional issue resolution.
- Collaborating with Industrial Engineering and Accounting to assess the financial impact of QA activities.
- Creating training materials, operational procedures, work instructions, and training personnel/teams on updated processes and protocols.
- Organizing meetings, events, and logistics related to QA operations.
- Leading a team with inspectors and/or technicians in a supervisory capacity, managing time, performance, labor distribution, and development.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field OR any discipline with relevant work experience thereafter.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality Engineering role with a demonstrable track record of accomplishments.
- 3 years of professional or military experience in a suitable business setting.
- Demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented approach in all business dealings.
- Resolve intricate business challenges in office and manufacturing environments.
- Apply a range of QA/problem-solving tools and discern when to use each effectively.
- Challenge the status quo, thinking innovatively to overcome obstacles and devise creative solutions.

- A willingness to engage hands-on to identify process and product enhancement opportunities, measure processes/products, collect and analyze data, lead a team, and test and implement improvement strategies.
