Sr. Software Engineer
, OpenText
to join CT Corp in the
New York Office.
The position is remote.
CT Corp (CT), a rapidly growing enterprise organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer (OpenText) to be part of a large transformation project where OpenText will provide key capabilities related to enterprise content management.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting the content management capabilities as part of the OpenText ECM Platform Team.
This is a hands-on position working directly with the Agile Scrum teams and should be very comfortable with content management space and all OpenText-related technologies, patterns, and best practices.
Essential duties and responsibilitiesCreate/configure OpenText Live reports, Web reports, and Workflows
Implement and support OpenText ECM capabilities
Design, develop, and maintain OpenText integrations with other systems
Configure and Support OpenText integration with Salesforce using xECM
Deploy OpenText components and configurations to different environments
Deliver high-quality (secure, performant, scalable, available, reliable) content management solutions supporting enterprise needs
Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and product owners to understand their requirements, propose options, and implement solutions
Create quick POCs for feasibility analysis along with quick estimates
Review designs and code to ensure high-quality delivery and stability in production
Develop and/or review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions
Collaborate with the support teams around production incidents involving content management platforms and integrations and ensure that timely resolution/recovery and preventative measures are taken to avoid recurrence
Interface with Development, Operations and Support Management, and Business Partners to understand and resolve any technical issues that are discovered during any phase of the software life cycle.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Master's degree is a plus
Experience
8+ years of overall professional software development experience with a programming background
5+ years of experience working with
OpenText
platform and development practices
Proficiency in all aspects of content management and integrations
Experience designing and implementing OpenText integrations with other enterprise systems
Extensive hands-on experience in OpenText Live reports, Web reports, and Workflow development
Deep understanding of content management capabilities (document management, records management, document security, categorization, OCR, document conversions, templates, scanning solutions, and workflows)
Deep understanding of content management security and policies
Experience in implementing scanning solutions using
OpenText tools
&
technologies such
as
Enterprise Scan
,
Capture center
Hands-on experience with
OpenText REST APIs, Brava, Blazon, Capture Center, Archive Server & Opentext Directory Services
Hands-on experience with GCI Document Conversion technologies
Hands-on experience with GCI Deployments, Power tools for workflows and agents
Hands-on experience in designing custom solutions using REST APIs
Experience with agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban
Strong work-organizational skills with attention to detail and demonstrated abilities to prioritize workload
