    Ahoy, Matey
    Success On The Spectrum is a learning center for children with Autism. We assign one "teacher" (known as a behavior technician) per child. We teach the children to talk, pretend play, feed themselves, make friends, etc.
    We are looking for playful, high-energy staff that have a passion for helping kids learn while having fun You will lead the kids in educational activities/games and make sure all safety rules are followed. Once a quarter, we take our kids on field trips
    SOS will give you hands-on training. We have weekly team trainings and quarterly in-service training days. SOS will pay for you to become a registered behavior technician, obtain a CPR certification, and QBS Safety Care Certification.
    Staff members get a performance review every 6 months. Behavior Technicians have the opportunity to be promoted into Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or a Trainer. As a trainer, you will have first dibs to move up as an Office Manager at newly opening locations.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Work In Center Monday - Friday 7:45am-4:00pm.
    • Two times per week, work in client's home 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
    • Implement Lesson Plans (created by the BCBA).
    • Incorporate sensory activities into the lessons (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games).
    • Record notes into the software.
    • General End-of-day Cleaning duties.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma (College Degree preferred).
    • No criminal background.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active.
