Job summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in the team delivering innovative and fast-paced analysis and design solutions. They will be expected to lead a variety of tasks, from schematic design and component selection, circuit analysis and simulation, to layout review and board bring-up and test.Key job responsibilities include interacting directly with customers to understand technical requirements, designing electrical circuits for hosting sensitive RF communications payloads including processing memory communication buses analyzing designed circuits using software tools for performance characterization on fabricated Printed Circuit Board designs identifying top level customer requirements ensuring high quality innovative designs performing electrical design layout trade studies contributing to overall system architecture facilitating cost trades on multiple parallel configurations delivering well written documentation reports presentations for technical design reviews proposal efforts designing supporting test campaigns development qualification acceptance space hardware security clearance required US Citizen obtain maintain US Government security clearance TS/SCI.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Computer Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience required 7+ years experience hardware development full product life cycle concept production required electrical engineering work experience Space Aerospace Defense Automotive Communications fields combination thereof preferred Master's PhD degree in Electrical Computer Engineering related discipline preferred
