and build best practices across all of our product teams This will be a hybrid product design
and design systems role where you'll spend 80% of your time building
and scaling our design system
and 20% on designing best-in-class experiences for
our platform features You'll work with tight-knit team that values open communication
& cross-functional collaboration We move quickly to solve wide range of complex product challenges with100% emphasis on end-user experience Please note we are looking for someone who will be able to come into downtown San Francisco officeon hybrid basis (3 days / week) You will Contribute Zip's vision how reimage procurement space elegant modern interfaces Grow mature Design System capabilities toolkits pioneering foundations components methodologies Develop long-term strategy design systems Zip collaborate engineering ensure components implemented correctly Drive requirements gathering designers engineers flexible extensible frameworks patterns components Set high quality standard user interfaces inventory inconsistencies proposing improvements Develop usage guidelines teach designers engineers use components patterns code create channels feedback improvements consistent implementation code multiple product verticals Organize robust Figma libraries keep neat usable Collaborate other designers craft maintain holistic product vision across suite products Evangelize Design System importance presentations meetings forums Qualifications Experience as leading digital company contributing/leading visual execution experiences Expertise Figma Storybook WCAG compliance tools Foundational understanding HTML/CSS breakpoints devices locales ability talk developers implementation details Strong portfolio demonstrating samples best practice deliverables style foundations interaction iconography prototypes Exceptionally strong visual UI skills champion excellence Highly organized systematic thinker driving process collaborating problems Thrive ambiguity independently prioritize based user needs business goals drive ideas forward Great presentation collaboration communication skills Strong organizational skills manage projects various stages
