Hybrid Schedule Accounting Manager - $130K/year

Responsibilities:

• Expertly prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting materials, ensuring accuracy and reasonableness, and overseeing consolidation and elimination entries
• Lead the fund accounting department, managing the daily workflow, supervising accounting staff, and driving the monthly financial statement close process for a diverse portfolio
• Take charge of the external audit process and act as a liaison with property management at remote locations and various internal departments, fostering effective communication
• Dynamically support portfolio management by compiling quarterly executive books, performing REIT qualification testing, and managing accounting staff development while consistently demonstrating tact and discretion

Qualifications:

• 5+ years property accounting experience
• Previous commercial real estate experience is a must
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Prior experience with fair value GAAP, tax accounting, IFRS and Taxable REIT Subsidiaries is a plus
• Proficiency in tenant recoveries(CAM)
