    This position will be responsible for maintaining the compact flash inventory as well as all other forms of game software, peripheral and sensitive products. Performs all tasks associated with the preparation of gaming software controls, devices and related equipment. Performs diagnosis (GLI Verify) for software as necessary by jurisdiction, and provides technical support to internal and external customers. Maintains all records of software as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    In addition to any and all Slot Technician responsibilities, the Software Technician will ensure that the correct software is utilized for each customer, including those required for game conversions, regardless of the jurisdictions. The Technician will utilize GLI approval letters, AGT game approval documents, and GLI verification tools as needed to perform this task. Performs in house verifications, down loads, file transfers, or any other task required. Will be responsible for training other technical staff on any technical applications as needed. Will perform configuration, diagnostics and final testing of AGT products and associated equipment, including printers, bill validators, sign graphics or others as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Education / Experience High School Diploma is required
    • 1 to 3 years of software or IT experience
    • Able to multi-task and be a self-starter
    • Good problem solving and basic computer skills
    • Detailed oriented and a positive "do what it takes" attitude
    • Able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Preferred candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as skilled in problem solving and the ability to retain information.
    • Prior experience in a similar position is preferable.

    Physical Characteristics

    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift heavy boxes in excess of 100 lbs.

    Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Florida Gaming License.

    Position will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
