    Position: Financial Auditor

    Entry-level accountants welcome Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

    Location: Phoenix, AZ 85018

    Schedule: Full-Time, hybrid, 10% travel

    Salary: From 60,000/year

    We are seeking accounting professionals who are interested in public service and operating as accountants and analysts to increase government transparency Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

    What You'll Do:

    • Collaborate with a team of experienced auditors to conduct comprehensive financial and compliance audits of agencies, counties, universities, and community college districts.
    • Apply the AICPA's generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. GAO's Government Auditing Standards, and other federal auditing requirements to ensure adherence to the highest auditing practices.
    • Up to 10% travel to different out-of-town but in-state locations to perform audits on-site.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
    • Preferred: SharePoint experience
