    Job Summary



    Supervise and coordinate logistical (move) associated with major projects, event set-ups, break downs. Provide space utilization data analysis, verification, and updates to support the campus facilities planning team with data, swing space analysis, and move management coordination for capital projects. Responsible for setting group and employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.

    This position will interact on a consistent basis with staff in CPSM, I&S, and staff from academic/research serving as move coordinators, internal service providers, and external moving/staging vendors.

    This position typically will advise and counsel staff of the team, I&S, and academic, research, and administrative units coordinating moves.

    This position will supervise assigned staff.

    Responsibilities



    Job Duty 1 -
    Assist customer in planning for moves and event set-ups by developing move strategies, timelines, budgets, and project plan. Actively manages moves and set-ups to the project plan.

    Job Duty 2 -
    Serving as the liaison between units undergoing moves and all internal and external service providers, when an external move manager has not been engaged on a capital project

    Job Duty 3 -
    Serving as liaison and point of coordination with external move managers when engaged on major project

    Job Duty 4 -
    Assist customer in planning for moves and event set-up and break down

    Job Duty 5 -
    Preparation of space utilization reports and space layouts in support of campus and I&S planning team

    Job Duty 6 -
    Analysis of space data to track utilization at institutional levels and for specific units as requested

    Job Duty 7 -
    Identify ongoing schedule and work plan to conduct space audits for specific projects and on a regular basis, conduct audits and update space usage data in system

    Job Duty 8 -
    Make specific staff assignment and oversee and evaluate individual performance; maintain associated documentation

    Job Duty 9 -
    Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications



    Educational Requirements
    High school diploma or GED Certificate

    Other Required Qualifications
    Valid Georgia Driver's License. Ability to lift 75 lbs; job may require extended periods of standing or walking is required.

    Required Experience
    Four to five years of job-related experience

    Preferred Qualifications



    Preferred Educational Qualifications
    Technical Diploma or Associate Degree.

    Preferred Experience
    Two or more years of management experience
    Logistics supervisory experience with up to three or more staff.
    Logistics operations management experience with Federal Government and/or US Military.
    Experience with operating a logistics database system software.
    Experience with distribution and management of logistics policies and procedures.

    Salary range is dependent on candidates experiences and skills that ranges from $55,436 - $75,394.
    Salary grade for this position is C9
