- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery to prevent infection
- Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
- Collect and analyze data related to surgical outcomes and patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Provide support and assistance to patients before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in OR, family care, or Endo
- Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control practices
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures
