    Primary Job Duties

    Responsible for schedule integrity and daily operation of SkyWest Airlines flights to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and consideration of economic factors
    Cancels and delays flights, reflows crews and aircraft as necessary to achieve a high level of efficiency, economics, and passenger convenience
    Maintains a constant awareness of weather, air traffic control, and other factors impacting flights in their region of operation
    Communicates with the appropriate dispatcher regarding changes that affect the release of any flight
    Communicates with flight crew and station personnel regarding changes to aircraft assignment
    Develops contingency and recovery plans during irregular operations

    Minimum Requirements

    Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shift work with possible early morning and/or late night shifts
    Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
    FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, FAA Pilots License, or experience in an aviation related field preferred
    Salary range $56,160-$74,880/per year

    Training for those selected for this position will begin in mid to early June 2024.
