Stonebridge Nursing & Rehab is seeking a strong, confident, and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department with excellence and integrity. This is a key leadership role for a dedicated Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-centered skilled nursing environment.

Required Qualifications:
Proven nursing management experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and staff development abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Current Illinois RN license required
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing department
Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered clinical care
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and survey requirements
Lead recruitment, staffing, scheduling, and retention of nursing staff
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare partners
Manage departmental budget, supplies, and resources
Promote a culture of accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement
