Job summary
This position is responsible for the upkeep of the Goodwill retail store by ensuring its overall cleanliness and that high traffic and touchpoint areas are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with company standards.The custodian will be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, breakrooms, dressing rooms, checkout/jewelry counters and other high touchpoint areas throughout the building. They will also restock disposables such as soap tissue sanitizer wipe all mirrors windows sanitize checkout counter sneeze guards maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances walking outside picking up disposing debris apply cleaning/sanitizing chemicals according established safety procedures remove extraneous dirt/markings from interior exterior building clean spills appropriate equipment maintain cleaning supplies stock communicating management complete tasks timely manner minimal supervision assist any other projects determined management take responsibility custodial duties such as cleaning restrooms break room sweeping mopping trash removal.
